Overview
This CoSpaces Edu course for students aged 6 to 12 aims to progressively build skills in 3D creation, coding, storytelling, game design, virtual exhibitions, simulations, and collaborative projects. Starting with an introduction to the platform, students will learn to create 3D scenes and use CoBlocks for coding.
They will then delve into advanced 3D creation and coding techniques, and explore interactive storytelling. The latter part of the course focuses on game design, virtual exhibitions, and simulations, allowing students to create their own games and design virtual exhibitions. The final levels emphasize collaborative projects and portfolio creation, providing students with a comprehensive learning experience and a portfolio of their work to showcase their skills and learning journey.

Learning Goals

Language of Instruction
We normally teach in English, but we're happy to try and accommodate lessons in Cantonese, Putonghua, Korean, Punjabi, or other languages when possible.

Level 1: Introduction to CoSpaces Edu
- Understanding the CoSpaces Edu platform and its features.
- Learning to navigate the CoSpaces Edu interface.

Level 2: Exploring 3D Creation
- Learning to create 3D objects.
- Understanding how to manipulate 3D objects (move, rotate, scale).
- Creating a simple 3D project.
Level 3
Level 3: Introduction to Coding
- Understanding the basics of coding in CoSpaces Edu.
- Learning to use CoBlocks to control objects.
- Creating a simple interactive scene using CoBlocks.
Level 4
Level 4: Advanced 3D Creation
- Learning to use more advanced 3D creation tools.
- Understanding how to create complex 3D scenes.
- Creating a complex 3D project.
Level 5
Level 5: Advanced Coding
- Learning to use advanced CoBlocks features.
- Understanding how to create complex interactions using CoBlocks.
- Creating a complex interactive scene.
Level 6
Level 6: Storytelling with CoSpaces Edu
- Learning to use CoSpaces Edu for storytelling.
- Understanding how to create an interactive story.
