Frequent Asked Questions

When are the lesson dates and times?

Monday to Friday: 11:00 – 21:00, with most time slots available for classes.
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 – 21:00, with most time slots available for classes.
(Operating hours during statutory holidays and special periods may differ and are subject to change without prior notice.)

Why are our class times so flexible?

Our teaching approach is similar to the Kumon method developed in Japan. Tutors adjust the depth and pace of instruction based on each student’s individual progress. Each student follows a personalized set of assignments and learning pace, independent of other students in the classroom. In addition, classes are available on a daily basis (subject to timetable and availability), allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of parents and students.

How many students are in each class?

We are committed to maintaining small class sizes. Our typical tutor-to-student ratio is approximately 1 to 2–6 (two to six) students, although actual ratios may vary depending on operational needs and enrolment levels.

Do students have class once a week? How long is each lesson?

Our programming courses may be scheduled on a daily basis, every other day, or once a week, subject to the student’s availability and our timetable. Our teachers will use reasonable efforts to accommodate preferred schedules; however, specific times and dates cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to availability.
Each course level consists of a total of 7.5 instructional hours. Parents and students may choose one of the following formats:
• 1.5-hour lessons (5 sessions in total), or
• 2.5-hour lessons (3 sessions in total).

Can class times be adjusted?

Yes. If you need to reschedule a lesson, you must notify us at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of the scheduled class time. We will use reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative time, subject to timetable and tutor availability. Requests received less than seven (7) days before the scheduled class time may be refused or treated as an attended session, at our sole discretion.

Can I confirm the date of one class and decide on the rest later?

Yes. All paid classes must be fully utilized within one hundred eighty (180) days from the date on which payment is received. For any remaining classes with dates not yet scheduled, it is the responsibility of the parents or students to proactively contact the centre to arrange the remaining sessions.
If all purchased classes are not scheduled and completed within the above 180-day period, any unused classes will be deemed automatically forfeited. No refunds, credits, transfers, or extensions will be provided for any unused or forfeited classes under any circumstances, except as expressly stated in our No-Refund Policy below.

What devices should I use for lessons?

We do not recommend using iPads or other tablets for coding lessons, as these devices are primarily designed for general consumer and leisure use and may not be suitable for more technically demanding tasks such as programming. (The App Inventor Mobile Apps courses are an exception; they require a combination of a computer and a mobile phone.)
Therefore, wherever possible, we strongly recommend using a desktop or laptop computer (Windows or Mac) for all lessons to ensure a stable and effective learning experience.

No‑Refund Policy

All payments for our courses, programs, registration fees, and any related charges are strictly non‑refundable once received by the centre. By making payment, parents and students acknowledge and agree to this No‑Refund Policy in full.
Exceptions to this policy may be granted only under the following limited circumstances, and only at the sole and absolute discretion of the centre:
Centre‑related cancellations: If the centre is unable to deliver the purchased course or scheduled classes within a reasonable period, and no suitable alternative schedule or arrangement can be provided, the centre may offer a partial or full refund or credit, as determined by the centre.

Extenuating personal circumstances: If parents or students encounter serious, unforeseeable circumstances that prevent attendance for an extended period, such as significant medical conditions supported by appropriate and verifiable documentation (for example, a medical certificate issued by a licensed healthcare professional), the centre may, at its discretion, offer a refund, partial refund, or course credit.
Any request for an exception must be submitted in writing, together with supporting documentation, within a reasonable time from the occurrence of the relevant event. The centre reserves the right to request additional information, to verify documents provided, and to approve or reject any request in its sole discretion. The centre’s decision in respect of refunds, credits, or exceptions shall be final and binding.
